To avail the benefit of the scheme, the beneficiary should belong to the state of Gujarat and own the land. Even if the farmer has more than one account, the assistance will be given only once. In case of joint account, the farmers will be entitled to benefit from only one of the account holders mentioned in ikhedut 8-A. This assistance will only be for the purchase of the smartphone and will not include other accessories such as battery backup devices, earphones or chargers.

How to Apply Smartphone Sahay Yojana
To apply for this scheme, the beneficiary has to apply online from the ikhedut portal. After applying online, pre-approval will be given by Taluka Enforcement Officer. Approved applications will be notified through SMS/email or other means.
Beneficiaries selected for the scheme have to purchase the smartphone within 15 days of the pre-sanction order. After purchasing the smartphone, the beneficiary farmer has to sign the application form. A signed print out along with all other documents has to be submitted to Gram Sevak/Extension Officer/Taluka Enforcement Officer.
