The government is providing free gas connection to middle class and below poverty line families. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. If you have not availed this scheme, apply quickly.

The government is providing the benefit of free gas cylinders to such women who come especially from rural areas and cook food using wood, cow dung and coal in stoves. Under this scheme, poor women are given 3 free gas cylinders initially, after which they are given gas cylinders at a lower rate than LPG cylinders.

This scheme was launched on 1 May 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, many women have benefited so far. If you have not availed this scheme, apply quickly.

How to Apply for Free LPG Ujjwala Yojana

You have to visit the nearest LPG center to avail this scheme.
Here you have to fill a form.
In the form you have to provide all your information and also provide the necessary documents.
Also, here you have to state how many kilograms of cylinder you want.

BPL certificate issued by Municipal President or Panchayat President
Voter ID Card
aadhar card
BPL Ration Card
Aadhaar photocopy of all family members
Passport size photograph
Jan Dhan Bank Account or Bank Passbook

Eligibility Criteria for Ujjwala Yojana Application

The benefits of this scheme will be available to women who are above 18 years of age.
Families coming under BPL will get benefit of this scheme. That is, the families that come below the poverty line.
If a woman already has a gas connection in her house, she will not get the benefit of this scheme.
You must have the required documents to apply.

Free filled cylinders will be available

The beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala scheme are provided free gas stove and LPG connection. Not only this, the first gas cylinder is also provided free of cost to the beneficiary.
